Photo-transistor with lamp

The current through the part is controlled by the light falling upon it. The greater the intensity of light, the greater the current. Use the lamp-slider to control the amount of light falling on the part:

• Drag the slider upwards to increase the light level.
• Drag the slider downwards to decrease the light level.

The value displayed to the left of the part is the photo-current that flows when the voltage across the photo-transistor is 0.7 V or more.

• Photo-current: 2 mA
• Dark current: 0.1 µA
• Maximum current: 50 mA
• Maximum voltage: 35 V
